It’s amazes me that “health” & fitness professionals still talk about how important it is for people to “hit their macros” and tell people to get their “protein in” buy using bulk bags of cheap whey protein.

This cheap protein is either a highly processed whey concentrate or isolate, and neither are good for your health.

Whey Protein isolates and concentrates have 2 steps of heat sterilisation together with several processing methods, this results in different degrees of deformation also known as denaturing of the protein structures and amino acids, which makes them useless to your body and potentially harmful over time.

Denatured Whey Proteins in your digestive tract will lead to putrefaction (the process of decay or rotting in a body or other organic matter), which causes constipation, gas and bloating which is a familiar experience for many after taking regular whey protein.

Cheap whey protein isolates are not only heavily processed but they are loaded with health destroying toxic chemical flavours and sweeteners.

Whey protein isolates also often contain the flavour enhancer Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), which is created during the manufacturing process.

If you didn’t already know, MSG is an excitotoxin, which means it overexcites your brain cells to the point of damage or death, causing brain damage to varying degrees, and potentially even triggering or worsening learning disabilities.

Common adverse effects linked to regular consumption of MSG, include: obesity, eye damage, headaches, fatigue and disorientation, depression, rapid heartbeat, tingling and numbness.

Another issue with commercial protein powders is that the majority have been found to be contaminated with health harming toxins including cadmium, arsenic, lead or mercury.

So ironically, when people are drinking these protein powders promoted by the “health & fitness” industry, thinking they are consuming something healthy and nutritious for their body, they are in fact doing the exact opposite.

Another factor that comes into play here is that a lot of people are actually unable to break down and use the vast amount of protein they are recommended to eat in their diet, and this can lead to big issues.

All of a sudden, from going to the gym and wanting to lose a few pounds and get in shape, you now have the beginning of a digestive problem, and you can clear the room with your “protein farts” which you never used to have.

I’ve see it too many times.

For the record, that foul smelling wind isn’t a protein fart … that is what we call gut rot.

This where undigested food is left to ferment and rot in the gut which leads to body wanting to expel those excess gases and toxins, which results those strong smells that leave your back passage.

Undigested food in the gut and can cause all manner of issues, the major one being gut permeability which can lead to skin issues, weight gain, hormone problems, food sensitives, allergies etc.

So, before you embark on a new training regime, and a diet heavy in protein I want you to remember …

It’s not about how much protein you consume, it’s how much you absorb.

Overloading your body with too much protein will burden the digestive system, which can lead to gas, pain, wind and bloating.

If you get one of these issues – which remains unresolved for a period of time – it may turn into a more serious long term problem.

So, make sure you keep your gut health in the front of your mind at all times.

To create a lean and healthy body what you need is a diet rich in organic whole foods that the body can process and use.

If you then add a high quality untreated non-denatured whey concentrate protein powder that is bioavailable as an additional dose of super nutrition which allows the body to build lean muscle, detoxify, boost immunity, support your gut health and increase your longevity, then that’s going to take your health to the next level.

Always focus on quality over quanity.

Do this and you’ll be amazed how quickly your body will get and stay lean.

Not only that, it will be supremely healthy too, and that’s what really matters.

P.S. If you do feel the need to buy a protein powder to add to your smoothie, or for recovery after sport or training then make sure you buy one that is not heavily processed and use high quality ingredients.

In fact, later this week you will have the chance to buy The World’s Finest Whey Protein when we release Kaizen – the worlds first unheated, untreated, unflavoured, truly non-denatured whey concentrate.

This will be a game changer for so many peoples health. 🙏
